What changes from house to house?
In Jyotish, Moon (Chandra) is associated with change, receptivity and the mind in traditional vocabulary. A bhava, or house, names the part of the chart under discussion. Ask: How does this house subject invite reflection or change? A Moon position cannot diagnose mood, anxiety, sleep or a family member’s feelings. Traditional house subjects and aspect conventions appear in the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra; the text’s severe historical predictions are not established facts about a reader.

What else matters in this chart?
The occupied house is only one part of a reading. Verify birth time and Lagna, identify the house lord and Moon’s sign and dispositor, and check rulership and conjunctions. In a common Parashari convention, Moon casts a seventh aspect from its position. These are interpretive links between chart topics, not event predictions. Houses and ascendant give the basic map; dignity and combustion are separate technical questions, not outcome scores.
